Bugsy Malone Performance

On Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th April a company of strong performers from Yrs7 – 9 are set to take audiences through a journey back to the 1940’s, with rival gangs, splat guns and an ecliptic mix of thrill and humour, all through the medium of musical theatre:

“Bugsy Malone” is a roller coaster, time-traveling adventure set in the Prohibition era, New York, with rival gangsters Fat Sam and Dandy Dan at logger heads.  As custard pies fly and Dan’s destructive ‘splurge guns’ wreak havoc, Bugsy Malone, a penniless ex-boxer and all round nice guy, falls for Blousey Brown, an aspiring singer. Will Bugsy be able to resist seductive songstress Tallulah, Fat Sam’s moll and Bugsy’s old flame, and stay out of trouble while helping Fat Sam to defend his business? Bugsy Malone has all the ingredients for a family show that will make you laugh, cry, and reflect making it a show to be remembered for many years to come.

With a cast and production crew of 40 students, this musical production will be a show not to be missed.

Tickets for the performances are £8.00.  The monies collected will cover the cost of performing rights, royalties, lighting, sound, set, costumes and technical equipment as well as aid the running costs of future shows.

All performances start at 7.00 p.m. and are expected to end by 9.30 p.m. (including an interval of 20 minutes).  Tickets are available from the schools on-line system which you can access by either:

  • Contacting the Finance Office on: 01782 667650 ext 204.
  • Or, emailing the Finance Office on: finance@sntrust.org

Tickets are restricted to a maximum of 150 per night, and only those possessing a ticket will be admitted.

We really do hope that you will be able to join us for a night of true youthful energy and spirit and musical display.
