At Newcastle Academy we are keen to give our students the widest possible experience of the working world. We are committed to broadening the horizons of our young people and challenging stereotypes around the world of work. Being able to meet and speak with employers and employees is an extremely valuable source of careers education and we are always eager to engage with local and national businesses and professionals.

There are a number of opportunities to get involved in our careers education programme and help inspire the next generation! Depending on your availability you could give a short talk, assist with mock interviews or help us to create industry focussed lessons so that students are able to see how the learning they do at school can be used in the real world. Your knowledge and experience could help a young person to find their calling.

Whether you are an ex pupil, a local professional or someone who is passionate about your work and able to come into school we would love to hear from you. If you feel you can spare the time to work with our young people, then please do get in touch:
