Attendance and Absence
Attendance is paramount for pupils to fully achieve their potential. If pupils are not here we cannot deliver high quality education. No term time holiday will be authorised.
Recently the Government introduced a change to their policy which has been reflected in our own Parental Agreement and Attendance Policy. It is your duty to ensure your child attends school, and if attendance falls below 90% this will trigger Education Welfare involvement.
If your child is going to be absent for any reason you MUST TELEPHONE the school’s absence line on 01782 667650 or email on firstname.lastname@example.org letting us know the reason, and when the child is expected to return to school.
