Recognition and Rewards

At Newcastle Academy we value students and celebrate both their academic progress and wider contributions and achievements. There are a range of rewards that students at the Academy are able to achieve. Each half term students are recognised for academic progress, attendance and punctuality and progress. Termly students are rewarded for the number of achievement points rewarded, academic progress and outstanding contributions to the Academy.

Achievement Points

At Newcastle Academy students good behaviour, effort and determination in their learning and representation of the Academy are rewarded daily. Students receive achievement points which are accumulated each half term. Students receive bronze, silver and gold awards when they achieve a certain number of points. 

What do I receive achievement points for?

Celebration Evening

Each academic year we host a Celebration Evening to recognise academic achievement and contributions. This is a lovely opportunity for students and parents to celebrate achievements of students and the recognition of success at the Academy.
